Belly Pics!

I took some pics in a dress, but you couldn't tell I was pregnant..we were laughing about it, John just said that it looked like I gained weight. Gee, thanks John! More pics to come soon!!
I took some nursery pics, I'll put them up sometime this week! 5 weeks to go! Maybe it's time to start panicking! Oh wait, I did that the last 35 weeks!

34 Week Update

I had another Dr appointment today! They're very fast, just a quick heart beat check and measurement. John and I had a 7 hour, yes 7 hour, class at the hospital last week with a bunch of other expecting couples. We were all due in the same week, but their bellies were twice the size of mine. I asked the Dr today if she could tell about how big Em was and if she was the size she should be (I was really trying to get her to do a sono so I could see her <--- didn't work). She said she is about 4-5 pounds, probably closer to 4. She said she is a tiny baby, but not unhealthy, and is growing how she should be and not to worry. she said consider it lucky! She also said she can guarentee Emerson will not come out 10 lbs, phew! My Dr is a very calm/soft speaking short little lady, every "what if" question I ask her, her response is...that is very rare or uncommon so don't worry. Jessica, you know what I'm talking about. Well today I asked her if there was a chance of the epidural wearing off during labor and/or delivery and her response started..."that is very rare and un common, BUT it did happen to me when I delivered my twins." Yikes! But she said should it happen, they have something that takes effect immediatley. She knows I'm a bit of a wuss, they use the pediatric needle when I give blood!! That's all for now. I go back in 2 weeks, and she will start checking to see if the time is near! I go every week following that. Oh she could feel today and tell that Emerson is positioned the way she should be, so that is good!

Tea Room!!

Last tuesday all the girls from work met at a tea room for lunch and a shower! It was so fun! Emerson got some cute embroidered things, and some more colors to add to her wardrobe!! She also got her bedding, stroller and high chair! We had a nice lunch with the best blackberry tea ever!! Thank you everyone from Eagle for making it so special!! Here are a few pics!
