Toddler's best friend

Hank is very popular in our house, everyone claims him to be their best friend. Emerson has conversations with him and invites him to play princesses, I feel so sad for her that he never responds, maybe one day:) Today he yawned while we were in the kitchen and she asked him if he needed to go night night in mama's bed. She then marched to my room, stopped in the door way and was yelling Hank Hank, wanna take a cat nap? Bud, cat nap? All the while Hank just stood by me staring at me for protection from toddler love. Lately Emerson wants to hold him, so she always grabs his big head to kiss him right on his nose, and she usually asks him a few questions about his nuzzle, aka muzzle. He absolutely loves this, NOT! Every time we leave the house, as soon as we get to the back door, Em turns around and runs to give bud a hug and kiss and tell him she loves him just 7 more times before we make it out the door. This process can take up to 10 minutes if Hank is dodging the hugs, because she wants a good hug. When she sees him in the morning after a long night without him, she yells SOOOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUTE Bud. I love that she loves him so much, makes me happy!
