Success!

Emerson went right to sleep in the bed last night, and slept an hour later than usual! I was worried about nap time since it wouldn't be dark, but we're on hour 2! I'm so glad she made this transaction an easy one!

Toddler time!

Emerson's legs keep getting stuck in her crib, so we made her crib a toddler bed tonight! Growing up so fast! I have already bought twin bedding, and picked out her new big girl room furniture! I can't believe she will be in a twin bed soon and not a crib! It's part of her birthday present, so she will sleep in the bed until then to adjust to not sleeping in a crib! Hopefully it goes well tonight, fingers crossed!

Aquarium

We are so excited that Grapevine got an aquarium! Of course, we bought a season pass! We went for the 1st time today and had a lot of fun pointing out fish and what color they were! In the 360 walk through tunnel, she did get a bit panicked when the sharks came close! I didn't get very many pics, but we will be back soon!

Water Park Fun

We bought our season pass to the water park to stay cool this summer in early May. My mom was able to join us about 5-6 times because she had so many days off! Here are a few pics I got of them playing!

Summer Little Gym

Our summer session of Little Gym just ended. Emerson had a blast! We decided not to sign up for fall, but to try something else! Hopefully next semester she can do dance! I can't wait!

The circus came to town in August! Emerson was a little young, but we thought it would be fun! She lost interest a little when the animals weren't out. But when the elephants came out, she was laughing hysterically! We had a great time!

Safari So Fun

Southlake has an indoor Safari Park that we went to last week. Emerson had a great time! They have lots of different play things, like train tables, kitchens, etc., a big ball pit/play area, mechanical animals to ride and a train ride! We had a great time and will probably visit again soon!

So Much Chatter

Emerson has been doing a lot of talking lately, and I love every last bit of it! She can point out correctly, boo(blue), mink (pink), lello(yellow) and burple(purple). She can name and make most animal noises, her cat sounds like a siren, but I still love it. She calls one friend by name, Kade, everyone else is buddy. Hank is still bubba or buddy and he is the 1st one she calls for when she wakes up! She is naming most every food I put in front of her now, and most objects that we see everyday, such as shirt, bowl, spoon, diaper, etc. She is a big helper as well, when she sees something that has spilt, or a spot, she grabs a rag and starts scrubbing. She also loves to switch the laundry from the washer to the dryer.

We're going to the the circus wed, and I can not wait! Then in Sept we fly to CO, for Em's last free flight before I have to buy her her own ticket, and then her big Candyland birthday party in Oct. I could not be more excited about her birthday and Christmas this year! My mom and I have already started brain storming the things Santa will bring! At the top of the list, a power wheels, I've been waiting to get this since I found out I was pregnant! I almost did last year, but decided 2 would be a better age! I never had one growing up and ALWAYS wanted one!

We've had so much fun these past few months, I can't believe Em and all her friends are celebrating their 2nd birthdays! Time flies!



I bought these decorations last year the day after her 1st party, so here is a sneak peak of her party this year (of course it won't say Ella though!)
