We wanted to take Emerson to do some fun things with just us these last few weeks before Madison arrives so we started with a trip to the Dallas zoo. The Dallas zoo isn't that big and the exhibits aren't that great, but they have so many interactive things for kids to do that we decided it would be more fun than Fort Worth! We loaded up and got there as the gates were opening so we could feed giraffes while they were still hungry! It was a chilly morning but that didn't stop us! It was a fun day, and the zoo never got crowded so we really enjoyed our trip with our biggest girl! John is usually at work when we go to the zoo so it was a treat for him to be with us! I also don't think I could have gone alone with her because I could barely walk after about an hour!
Compared to a penguin
baboon
reading the map!
and giraffe pic over load!
we were the only ones there and one of the workers asked to take some pics so I said sure!
we love Tobago!
waiting for the lion predator feeding! It was really neat!
standing up!
gorilla! They are so funny to watch!
carousel!
Emerson really loves chickens..
pony rides!
she also has a strange love for goat!
I think this is where she had the most fun! She thought the birds landing on her and dad was so funny!
They landed on her head multiple times but I never caught a picture!
She wanted to pull the wagon, this added lots of extra time to our walk which was good for me!
camel rides!
What a fun day!
