Potty training has been going pretty well. I'd say we're about 85% potty trained. I don't trust her well enough when we're out for long periods of time yet, mainly because she is deathly afraid of the stalls and won't even go in! She's done very well at school, only 1 accident. She's had a few at home but I guess that's to be expected. Going #2, or a 'big one' as E calls it takes SO long. We sat in the potty area for 27 minutes one day... But it's better than changing a diaper!

And I took this while waiting for her to finish one day. All the ponies take a bath at night so they also sleep in there to dry. At least she hangs them out to dry!

Kids bathroom!

We are slowly but surely getting each room in our new house done and making it feel like home. We've actually had this bathroom done for a while I just forget to update! It was bright red before and I wanted to make it more kid friendly!

New patio

We had a lot of projects in mind when we bought this house. Our old house had a huge deck so we had become accustomed to eating and spending a lot of time outside on the deck. We moved here and the only patio was a tiny rectangle slab right outside the door. Nothing could fit on it. So our 1st project was the patio! I love how it turned out and today was perfect weather to enjoy it!

Final product! Bad picture but you get the point. Flower beds added and when it's spring the dirt will become a stone walk way and the beds full of flowers! I love how it all came together!

And she crashed

Emerson was so hyper when she got home from preschool. Exact opposite of what I expected. Anyways she finally crashed around 5:30...

New plan for Thursday-bring snugs to have on the car ride home and I think she'll pass out and be able to get a good nap still. When I woke her up around 5:45, she basically screamed until 7:30, she was really really over tired.

1st day of pre-school!

The day finally arrived! We got our toes painted yesterday in our last step to prepare for the big day! I have been anticipating this day all summer long and it is finally here. Emerson stayed up in her room playing and talking about school until 10:30, excitement, and I woke up at 5:30! I had to actually wake her up this morning because she slept late due to her late night. Hank knew it was the big day and was waiting outside her door..haha! When we barged in and woke her up I told her today was the day she gets to go to school! she was so excited! She barely ate because she wanted me to brush her hair and get her all ready! Her backpack was a little heavy this morning and she asked to take it off half way through pictures, ha! We got there right on time, walked her to her room and she never looked back. Bittersweet day, but she's been begging to go all week and I know she's going to love it! I can't wait to pick her up and hear all about how her first day of pre school went with her new friends and teachers!
