Sweet Freckles

Today we had to make the tough decision of putting down our Freckles. We got her when I was in 7th grade, so we had her 15 years! She was such a good dog, and we will really miss her! Some of my favorite memories are of her jumping on the table and eating all our dinner while the door bell rang, walks to the duck pond, hoarding tennis balls and going to Robyn's house! Emerson loved Freckles very much too! When we would go over there, she ignored Hank to talk with "freeckles" as she called her! I know she is in a good place now and no longer suffering, but we sure will miss her! It's never fun letting go of a furry family member..

What the kids have been up to...

Just some pics I emailed from my phone of the boy and girl lately! Oh, and had a doctor appt Jan 9th to check on baby #2, heart beat was the same as last 165, and everything looked great! We find out the sex at our next appointment, can't wait!

Emerson is really into reading lately, she reads books to herself all day long, it's so cute! John got an ipad as part of his Xmas bonus from work this year, greatest invention ever to keep a toddler busy! We downloaded some her her favorite shows and lots of apps, she figured out how to get in and out of apps on her own and pick which ones she feels like playing! She played all sorts of learning games on the way home from Austin! It's so neat to watch her figure out puzzles, and matching, etc!

Oh, Hank, he just can't find enough time in the day to sun bathe and sleep. He was laying across 1 stair today because that's where the sun was hitting. He is WAY too big to fit on a stair, 1/2 his body was hanging off!

Here's Emerson working very hard on coloring, she's getting better and better at coloring in the object or area rather than a huge scribble mess! I can't wait until she starts pre school next year, I think she's really going to enjoy all the learning!

Windy day at the park

We met our friends at the park yesterday for a picnic and feeding the ducks, we thought it was going to be so nice since it was 73, but the winds made it a little chilly! We still had a great time anyways, and it wore the kids down:)

I wanted to test out my new camera this day, and I'm pretty please with the pics, so I finally have a new, good camera!

New Years Eve

Our New Years Eve was pretty low key this year. We ate dinner, went for some ice cream then came home and tucked in bed and watched some TV. Here are a few pics!
